Seven Promoted to Partner at Lindquist & Vennum

Lindquist & Vennum LLP is pleased to announce that the firm’s partnership has voted to promote Adam BallingerVeronica BaselEthan Birnberg, Carissa BrownNicole HittnerSharda Kneen, and Gloria Myre to partner, effective July 1, 2014.

Adam Ballinger joined the firm in 2008 after serving as a summer associate for the firm in 2007. He is a member of the firm’s Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy group. His practice includes assisting clients with issues related to bankruptcy, receiverships, agribusiness and debtor-creditor issues. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School and received his bachelor's degree from North Dakota State University.

Veronica Basel joined the firm in 2008, after serving as a summer associate for the firm in 2006 and 2007. As a member of the firm’s Corporate Finance and Mergers & Acquisitions practice group, her experience covers a wide range of matters in a variety of industries and deal structures. Veronica advises businesses in connection with mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, corporate governance, and general corporate counseling matters. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and received her bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas.

Ethan Birnberg joined the firm in 2010. He practices in the firm’s Denver office as a member of the Financial Restructuring and Bankruptcy and Commercial Litigation groups. He prosecutes and defends his clients’ interests in virtually all aspects of bankruptcy, including recovering and distributing assets, negotiating and forming reorganization plans, and litigating adversary proceedings. He graduated from the Thomas Jefferson School of Law and received his bachelor's degree from the University of California, Santa Barbara.

Carissa Brown joined the firm in 2008, after serving as a summer associate for the firm in 2007. As a member of the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice group, she works with clients to help them understand the role that wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and health care directives play in protecting their families and providing legacies for future generations. She works closely with personal representatives and trustees to carry out her clients’ wishes. She graduated from Boston University School of Law and received her bachelor's degree from Northwestern University.

Nicole Hittner joined the firm in 2008, after serving as a summer associate for the firm in 2007. She is a member of the firm’s Mergers and Acquisitions group. She represents buyers, sellers, and shareholders in deals of all sizes, and provides ongoing legal assistance with general corporate matters from entity formation to contract drafting and negotiation. She graduated from William Mitchell College of Law and received her bachelor's degree from New York University.

Sharda Kneen joined the firm in 2008, after serving as a summer associate for the firm in 2007. As a member of the firm’s Commercial Litigation practice, she focuses on securities-related issues facing brokerage firms, brokers, and investors. She has prosecuted and defended cases in both state and federal court, as well as before arbitration panels under the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority, involving claims relating to securities fraud, unsuitability, unauthorized trading, account churning, negligent supervision, and breach of fiduciary duty. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and received her bachelor's degree from the University of St. Thomas.

Gloria Myre joined the firm in 2009. As a member of the firm’s Family Law group, her practice experience includes counseling clients on matters relating to marriage, divorce, child custody, spousal maintenance, prenuptial agreements, post-decree matters, grandparent visitation, paternity actions, and other family law issues. She graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law and received her bachelor's degree from Bowdoin College.

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
