Kate Sender represents bankruptcy trustees, debtors, and creditors in bankruptcy litigation and state court disputes.

Prior to joining Lindquist, Kate was an associate with Denver based bankruptcy firm of Sender Wasserman Wadsworth, P.C.; interned with the Gonzaga University’s Federal Tax Clinic; and served as a clerk for the Honorable Judge Elizabeth Brown, United States Bankruptcy Court, Denver, Colorado. 

Experience
  • Represented Chapter 7 trustee in federal and state court litigation arising out of a Ponzi scheme.
  • Represented Chapter 7 trustees in prosecuting avoidance actions under sections 544, 547, 548, and 549 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code.
  • Represented Chapter 7 trustees in turnover and asset liquidation proceedings.
  • Represented homeowners in state court H.O.A. disputes.
  • Represented taxpayers in obtaining relief against the I.R.S.
  • Managed document control and discovery in complex bankruptcy litigation.

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.

Operators

AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
