Lindquist & Vennum possesses an “efficient and reliable” real estate practice. The practice has absorbed several lawyers from the recently dissolved firm Rider Bennett, and observers feel the practice could well climb the rankings in the coming years on the back of this extra bench strength. Currently, it is best regarded for its commercial work, handling transactions for developers, managers, owners and investors. For example, over the past year, it put together a joint venture agreement for a medical office building in Minnesota, acquired a research and medical facility in Puerto Rico and handled retail developments in Denver and Wisconsin. With the “seasoned and respected” LB Guthrie chairing the group and an increased stable of “very able” lawyers who clients say “accomplished everything we asked them,” the future is bright for Lindquist.
