Chad counsels clients on corporate and securities matters, with an emphasis on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, leveraged buyouts and joint ventures. He regularly represents public and private companies and private equity funds. He has closed transactions in a number of industries, including the retail, medical-device, technology, insurance, insurance-brokerage, healthcare, food-products, data-processing, consumer-goods, recycled-products, manufacturing, plastics, printing and graphics, and media industries.
Chad has extensive experience helping clients implement acquisition programs. He has represented Hub International Limited in more than a dozen transactions over the last two years. Hub, taken private by Apax Partners and Morgan Stanley in June 2007, is the 9th largest insurance brokerage company in the world.
Prior to joining Lindquist & Vennum, Chad worked at Sidley Austin in Chicago.
Chad volunteers with a number of organizations in the Twin Cities community, including the Advocates for Human Rights and the Plymouth Youth Center.
