Lisa Ashley’s practice focuses on commercial real estate, banking and business transactions. She works with lenders and borrowers in all aspects of commercial loans, buyers and sellers in commercial land transactions, landlords and tenants with commercial leases, and homeowner’s associations.

Lisa is certified by the Minnesota State Bar Association as a Real Property Specialist, a prestigious title held by only two percent of attorneys practicing in her specialized field.

  • Formed and prepared governing documentation for homeowners’ associations across Minnesota, including single family homes, condominiums, townhouses, twin homes and 55 plus communities
  • Represented numerous homeowner’s associations in the interpretation of governing documents, enforcement of governing documents, amendments to governing documents, contract review, collection and general legal advice
  • Worked on $86 million stock purchase
  • Worked on $10 million public stock purchase
  • Represented lender in contested proceeding subsequent for commercial property
  • Represented borrower in $10 million refinance of apartment complex
  • Represented TIC sellers in sale of property with national retailer tenants
  • Represented borrower in $34.1 million permanent refinancing loan of a multifamily housing complex

Search Tips:

You may use the wildcard symbol (*) as a root expander.  A search for "anti*" will find not only "anti", but also "anti-trust", "antique", etc.

Entering two terms together in a search field will behave as though an "OR" is being used.  For example, entering "Antique Motorcars" as a Client Name search will find results with either word in the Client Name.


AND and OR may be used in a search.  Note: they must be capitalized, e.g., "Project AND Finance." 

The + and - sign operators may be used.  The + sign indicates that the term immediately following is required, while the - sign indicates to omit results that contain that term. E.g., "+real -estate" says results must have "real" but not "estate".

To perform an exact phrase search, surround your search phrase with quotation marks.  For example, "Project Finance".

Searches are not case sensitive.
